The Grinches Want To Steal Much More Than Your Christmas
The Grinches Want To Steal Much More Than Your Christmas

You more than likely know the story of ‘How the Grinch Stole Christmas!’… the green, grouchy Grinch, disguised as Santa Claus, steals all the Christmas presents, trees and food from the town of Whoville on Christmas Eve.
At one point, he is interrupted by a little Who girl, however he crafts a lie to allow him to get away with his crime and escape.
To the Grinch’s surprise, the town’s residents still celebrate Christmas despite his effort to put an end to it. Hearing the townsfolk singing Christmas carols, even though they’ve been robbed of all their Christmas-themed items, inspires the Grinch to return everything he stole. This leads to him being made the guest of honour at the Whos’ Christmas dinner where he is given the honour of carving the Roast Beast.
A great tale! Sadly, in real life there are lots of Grinches and they’re after far more than your Christmas… they’re trying to steal your financial future and they won’t be returning anything.
There are enough scams out there to sink a ship and sadly many of them occur in the financial services industry, disguised as ‘financial advice’. This ‘financial advice’ is instead a scheme to slowly but surely funnel people’s hard earned money into products that charge high fees to do very little other than pay the product providers, who then reward those who recommend their products. As Christmases roll by, poor unsuspecting townsfolk move closer and closer towards a financial future that will be poor. Don’t be one of them!
Don’t leave yourself at the mercy of Grinches. Empower yourself with quality financial advice designed to put you in control of how your money works for you.
Cheers,
Daniel
