Have you been tested?
Have you been tested?

“Have you been tested?” could end up being the most common question of 2020. Of course, when most people ask that question, it’s going to be in relation to being tested for coronavirus. Across the country, tens of thousands of tests are being conducted every day as we try and isolate where the virus is and stop it in its tracks.
I think there’s another virus we really need more testing for… High Feever!
Australians are slugged billions of dollars a year in higher-than-necessary fees on their super and investments, higher interest rates on their mortgage, and pay more than they need to for things such as insurance, gas, electricity, phone and internet. Perhaps many are also paying too much for financial advice. High Feever is rampant in the community but the symptoms are not serious in the early stages. By the time most people realise they have the virus, it has done years and years of damage to their financial life expectancy.
We have a High Feever pandemic in Australia, but you don’t need to wear an inconvenient mask to protect yourself from it. You don’t need to get an uncomfortable test and you don’t need to take an untested vaccine. The cure is relatively simple. Get an ongoing dose of lower fees. Each year you do this, your immunity builds and builds. The long-term results are hundreds of thousands of dollars more to play with later in life. However, to obtain such a solid recovery, you need to start ASAP. Time erodes the effectiveness of this cure for High Feever.
Sadly, many people leave it too late and end up being hoodwinked into miracle cures, get rich quick schemes or overpriced product solutions. These make lots of money for the spruikers but compound the problem for the patient. Beware of anyone spruiking cures that sound too good to be true!
Just like coronavirus, High Feever is particularly damaging for older Australians. It’s at that point in life where the impacts of years of unknowingly suffering from the virus start to bite. Even for those at or near retirement, however, they still have decades of life ahead of them to benefit from taking action to eradicate the virus.
I’ll admit High Feever is not life-threatening, but it is most definitely LIFESTYLE threatening.
Just like we are thankful for being immunised against fatal diseases at an early age, you will be thankful for immunising yourself against High Feever sooner rather than later.
Get tested ASAP.
Cheers,
Daniel
